Morning Service Live Stream

Dec 21, 2025

This week, we celebrate a special Christmas service filled with the beautiful sounds of our annual Cantata. As we approach Christmas Day, we focus on the arrival of the "Prince of Peace" and the ultimate gift of the Christ child. This service is a heartfelt journey through the Nativity story, blending scripture, narration, and song to remind us why we celebrate this holy season.

Service Breakdown

- Worship and Music: The service is centered around the Christmas Cantata, "Come Let Us Adore Him." Featuring our choir and youth, the program includes powerful arrangements of "Do You Hear What I Hear?", "Noel," and "O Holy Night," weaving together the story of the shepherds, the wise men, and the manger.

- Children’s Corner: Our children’s leader guides the kids through the lighting of the final two Advent candles: the Peace Candle and the Christ Candle. They discuss how Jesus brings calm to our hearts even when the world is "busy or scary," and how the white Christ candle represents His purity as the light of the world.

- Special Recognition: We take a moment to celebrate our community’s joy as we recognize the Worth County High School football team and their parents for their recent State Championship victory—a historic moment for our town.

- The Message (Narrative): Through the Cantata's narration, we reflect on John 1:14, "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us." The service emphasizes that there was "no room in the inn," challenging us to ensure we have made plenty of room for Jesus in our own hearts and lives today.

Key Moments & Themes

- The Prince of Peace: A central theme of the service is Jesus as the Sar Shalom. We are reminded that His peace isn't just quietness, but the safety and love found in God’s presence.

- A Shout of Joy: Exploring the meaning of "Noel," the choir highlights that the Savior’s birth is a miracle that demands a shout of joy and a song of praise from all humanity.

- Sharing the News: Just as the shepherds couldn't keep the news to themselves after visiting the manger, we are encouraged to be modern-day messengers of the Gospel.

- Adoration of the King: The service concludes with a powerful call to lay our lives, loves, and hearts at the feet of the only King worthy of our worship.
