Galatians 4:1-7

Preaching from Galatians 4:1–7 on Father’s Day, this sermon lifts our eyes from imperfect earthly fathers to our perfect heavenly Father. Using the first-century Roman practice of adopting adult heirs, the pastor explains what it means that believers are “adopted as sons” of God. He shows how, in Christ, we move from being slaves to sin to permanently adopted children and heirs, never to be disinherited, never abandoned, never unloved.
